The iSeries search sort of does what one of the links does - it 
figures out which libraries to include (special values & generics 
only, no list, AFAIK), then which files to include, and runs 
FNDSTRPDM against them in a loop. You will get a slew of spooled 
files with the results - and they do NOT get deleted when it is done. 
It's really pretty nice, except for the trash left over.   ;-(
