Here's what I have for the two SMTP Prestart jobs at V5R3. I think for this
you can fill in the ADDPJE command. Not sure why they won't be ther in the
first place.

Subject: QSYSWRK missng SMTP pre-start jobs
iSeries running V5R3 Security level 40
Can anyone explain why JOBD QSYSWRK would not contain any
prestart jobs for SMTP?
We could not get SMTP started, checked all settings, no
joblogs for SMTP jobs not starting.
So looked at the JOBD for QSYSWRK and there are not any
prestart jobs for SMTP
Is the fix as simple as ADDPJE for the missing SMTP Prestart
jobs?
Or is there a reason someone would not want these in the
JOBD?
Can anyone furnish the parameters I would need for the two
ADDPJE commands I need to execute?
I searched but cannot find any documentation on how to add
them (what values for each parameter)
We need to send emails from the iSeries (no need to receive
emails)
Any help would be gratly appreciated!
