No one is saying there is no reason to ever have a dumb tube. However, my guess is that in MOST shops (most, mind you) there isn't a need for more than a few of them. As others have said, a simple keyboard cover allows a cheap PC to survive just about anywhere people survive. I've heard some extreme stories. If you have people dumping loads of dirt on your terminals regularly, you've got other issues. But in general, I think most people could get away with little or no interactive CPW and a primarily browser-based interface. Joe
