Right... For archival other then optical any large capacity internal disk
placed in a standard user ASP or external DASD with large capacity disk
placed in a user ASP would or could provide the high capacity you seek and
leave the system ASP for your normal application work. 

This would be the most cost effective and simple daily management approach.
