Did you, by any chance, run your RGZPGM with RGZPFM KEYFILE(*RPLDLTRCD)? Because I think that if you use *RPLDLTRCD that is exactly what is supposed to happen. Why would anyone want *RPLDLTRCD instead of just getting rid of deleted records? To reserve the space on disk that the file grows to on a periodic basis so no one else uses it? Rob Berendt
