Booth,I tried the IBM site without success. I'm pretty sure it's there I just couldn't put together the right combination of sort, specification, FMTDTA, etc. to find a manual with the documentation. Lots of information of FMTDTA but nothing I saw with how to define the source specs.I may be posting the source. I'll try Lances suggestion of changing the type and prompting. It that doesn't work I'll post the source.Rick -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Booth Martin Sent: Tuesday, December 06, 2005 4:39 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: FMTDTA sort specifications documentation http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/index.jsp http://tinyurl.com/dsc93 and do a search on "fmtdta' If you wanna, you could list the spec here and let the crusty old curmudgeons speak up.Privileged and Confidential.
