According to the help it does, but it also mentions "for IBM messages." A
simple test confirms that a user defined message doesn't seem to have the
same power.

This generated the msg in QSYSOPR, but does not show the '*' to the left
of the msg. Any other ideas on how to force this type of msg? TIA.
