I think you need to call IBM on this. I looked thru the programmer's guide
for the return codes you specified, unfortunately, it has not been updated
to include anything like that.

You might also want to verify the configuration, and maybe even re-do it. I
know that with the 4-port modem card configuration is a little different
than an external modem or an actual fax card.
