× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

You can add the two drive and build a mirror raid set.  Then add to ASP
and Balance.  Depending on the controller they are connected to, you may
be able to stop the mirror raid and start a 4 drive Raid 5 set, which
will give you better performance and more storage but not the same level
of protection.

One of our machines is running with two (2) 6713 drives which are
mirroed.  
We are currently at 62.23% used on this set.

My question is since this ia 9406-170 and we have a total of four slots,
can 
I just add two additional drives (larger) and mirror those two together
and 
then do a disk copy to move the data from the old drives to the new?

I plan on updating the two we have and expand it to the 4 drives 
allowable.....any suggestions would be appreciated.
