Brian,

Despite the fact that the menu commands are greyed out, the keyboard
commands that Phil references below still work.  It's a Navigator quirk
that we have used many times.

I tried - it won't allow it.  I checked the tool menu and the COPY

When you highlight the data, I think you can copy/paste using
ctrl-c/ctrl-v
