Hi,

You might be interested in our product, the iSeries PC-Engine, which would
allow you to execute any PC program or command, from within an RPG, RPGLE, CL
or COBOL program. Using it, there are any number of ways to both
create/edit/email,ftp, convert to PDF, etc...your text file(s) from your own
custom iseries applications. You are only limited by your imagination.

If you would like to see if this is something that would meet your
requirements, you can download a free, full function trial version of the
software at http://www.turbogorilla-software.com .

There is a demo license key right on the download page so you don't even have
to wait for us to "call you back" or annoy you in any way. Just download it
and try it at your leisure to see if it works for you. If you like it, you'll
buy it. If not, you're only out twenty minutes of your time. We're such low
pressure salesmen that half the time you gotta punch us to make sure we're
awake. :-)

Subject: CL Command to transfer Text file on AS/400 to PC ?

I can copy/paste the Text File from AS/400 to my PC using Iseries
Navigator,
how can I do this using CL Command ?

Say, I have created a text file in AS/400 with the following command.

    CPYTOIMPF FROMFILE(ACC) TOSTMF('luq.txt') STMFCODPAG(*PCASCII) RCDDLM(*CRLF)

Now I want to transfer this luq.txt file to my PC with a CL Command.

Further, is it possible to create this Text File directly on my PC instead
of on AS/400, using AS/400 CL Commands ?

    Best Regards,

    Luqman
