You could benchmark different techniques.  The two alternatives I see are
save/restore to a *SAVF, and CRTDUPOBJ.

Hi All,



What is the quickest way to copy a PF from one source to another?  I
have two physical files that are about 2.5 - 3.5 million records that I
would like to copy.  However, if I do the standard cpyf command, it
takes hours to copy the files.



Is there any easy (and quick!) way to do this operation that won't tie
up my server (and my time) for hours?
