Yeah you do, instead of using a PF-DTA use a PF-SRC and SEU to edit the text. You can still read the file data using your print program. Alternatively if the file is not externally described (or if you create a document in the IFS) you can use the EDTF command to edit it - it's not pretty, but... Another option would be to create or edit a text document on your PC and upload it to the 400...
