Hi,
How i use static data for output is :
Use a source file (QMAQSRC)
And one Member by Programme (same name)
In my programme, on *INZSR, i open QMAQSRC and populate some table with the
DATA
TA for left part 1-66, TB for middle 67-132 and TC for right part
133-198)
I use internal tables for output.
The only thing you have to do is, write your "maquette" in the source member
( i use mebers of TXT type and 198 lenght)
Hope this give you an idea ....

I thought about that, but then I don't have a full screen editor that I know
of. I looked at RLU. That may, tragically, be the only other answer in
the end.

on a more serious note, put them in a PF and read in program to print?

questions that probably has an elegant
answer that I have never thought of.
I have a 50 row, 132 column form with a lot of static text.
Specifying the static text is cumbersome since I can not figure out a way to
program the 132 column fields in an easily editable manner. Is there a full
screen editor that allows me to display the text as I want it? You guys
must have solved this a long time ago.
Does this question make sense?
