Re: Packed Fields

Do you have a standard programming language on your system?
Define the field using external or internal file layout.
The programming language like RPG can access the data whether it is packed or not packed, and copy the data wherever you want it copied. 


Is there something cheap that will uncompress a compressed dollar amount
field?
