I have software called AutoMate4 it allows me to attach program from my
pc and than upload the file to the ISeries.

 

I also put the following in a *.bat file and had AUTOMATE4 call it to
upload it to the ISERIES.

 

"\\txadd-web-01\ERFileParser\Upload File Parser
Install\ERFileParser.exe"  -p

Looking for suggestions...

 

I need a process that will transfer a file from a PC (server) to an
iSeries.

I'll need to probably invoke the program from the PC as I need to do
other

work to prepare the file. I'll then need to transfer the file to the
iSeries

(replacing an existing file) and then call a processing program. This is
to

replace an existing process that uses FTP and has worked flawlessly and
now

fails every 10th time or so...and is driving me up a wall.

 

All ideas are welcome.
