We do not do a save immediately after the ptf.  Yes, we would have to 
reinstall ptf's if disaster strikes, but we'll bear that brunt.  I'll have 
to do more detail checking to see if it is particular libraries or 
directories.  That would be interesting to know.  "First touch" on the two 
systems would be totally different.
