Could this be part of the problem? I created a new Image Catalog "TEST" ADDIMGCLGE IMGCLG(TEST) FROMDEV(OPT01) LODIMGCLGE IMGCLG(TEST) OPTION(*LOAD) WRKIMGCLG IMGCLG(TEST) shows: Image Device Catalog Status Device Status TEST Ready OPTVRT01 Active VFYIMGCLG IMGCLG(TEST) TYPE(*PTF) shows "Image catalog TEST, type *PTF verified." LODIMGCLGE IMGCLG(TEST) OPTION(*UNLOAD) WRKIMGCLG IMGCLG(TEST) shows Not ready. Take option 12 to Work with entries and see: Image Catalog . . . . . . . : TEST Image Catalog Status . . . . : Not ready Virtual optical device . . . : Directory . . . . . . . . . : /imgclg/test Opt Index Status Image File Name __ *AVAIL __ 1 MOUNTED C6302006_01 __ 2 LOADED C6302006_02 Do these need to say "Unloaded" in both places? Unlike PTF's, etc. Hence the parameter on PWRDWNSYS for IMGCLG and the parameter on the other for Device. Rob Berendt
