When you migrated to the 520, did it retain the name that the 820 had? There is a setting in ODBC configuration that uses the system name. The DNS could be changed to route traffic to the 520 using the original (820) name if the IP address on the 520 is different.

If the 520 retained both the name and IP address that the 820 had, then there's another problem. But I'd look there first.

We migrated to a 520 from a 820 this past weekend. Did a GO SAVE 21 and
restored to the new system. Very smooth and quite easy.
We have one issue. Our users cannot connect via the ODBC connection. I
am not real familiar with this connection. Is there anything special I
need to do in order for this to work, like recreate the connection setup
on the AS400 somehow?
