I have to rename the .bin files to .iso to get my CD-Burning software to recognise them. In your CD software, do Burn CD Image and point it at the .iso.
Alternatively, if you're on v5r2 or later, I've started FTP'ing the .bin files straight onto the iSeries, and installing them from a Virtual Optical drive. If you're interested, this seems as good a place as any to start:
