Hi Rich,

All of the manufacturer type and model entries
provided by IBM are in a compiled binary format and
they are not editable files.

The Retrieve Customization Object concept provides you
with a method of returning the information to a text
based format suitable for editing.

When you execute the command, it will ask you for the
IBM entry you want to open (*EPDFX8000) and the name
you will be giving to the new driver you will be
creating (your choice).

The command will then create a source file for you to
open with the name you provided so that you can
perform your customization work.

Thus the QWPEFX5000 file is not needed for the work
you will be undertaking.

Best Regards,

/Paul
