Ali,As a follow-up. I checked on the latest JT400.jar it has support for both code page 1200 and 1208. So, if you use that with tn5250j (just have it in the classpath) you will be able to set that code page support in the emulator. No problem!

Ali,I checked the tn5250j (Java Open Source 5250 emulator) that I am a developer on. Code pages 1200 and 1208 aren't supported "out of the box" but after scanning the archives, it seems that adding the code page support isn't difficult (there are posts for adding support for Thai and Slovakian code pages). You can use the JT400.jar to add this support but I don't see support for those code pages in JT400 (at least the version I am running). If you don't find a product that supports those code pages I can help to add code pages 1200 and 1208 to the currently supported list of code pages for tn5250j (I'll have to do some research first).Glad to help if you cannot find anything else that meets your needs. Example 273 - Germany, 037 - United States etc. Please let me know the name and version of your host access if it supports these code pages.Regards, Ali Asgar Juzer Wipro Technologies Ph +91 20 22933700 3343 Mob. +91 98230 71361 Confidentiality NoticeThe information contained in this electronic message and any attachments to this message are intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may contain confidential or privileged information.
