SLR60 QIC on model 720 (calling Dr Franken)

Does anyone know if an internal SLR60 QIC tape drive
from a new model 520 (feature #5753) will work if
installed in a model 720 ?

The 720 currently has a #6390 internal 8mm.  Customer
is trying to migrate to new model 520 and oicked up a
7208-222 which is attached to t
