How about this?  You will need to determine how many pools you need to
report...  In this case, we have four pools, each accumulating to it's
specified column.

SELECT DTETIM,                                 
sum(case when PONBR='001' then POSIZ end)as p1,
sum(case when PONBR='002' then POSIZ end)as p2,
sum(case when PONBR='003' then POSIZ end)as p3,
sum(case when PONBR='004' then POSIZ end)as p4 
FROM qmpgdata/qapmpoolb                        
GROUP BY DTETIM

retrieving info from qmpgdata/qapmpoolb.
This file contains one record per time interval and pool number and shows 
a bunch of info including pool size.
What is the easiest way to create a summaryfile with one record per 
interval and with one column per pool showing the poolsize?
