I find your thread:
Can a CUM PTF update the microcode on the service processor?
 
 
Yesterday I had the same problem with one 270 machine SRC B427 4001..., I 
changed all the parts: Main Board, memory card, raid controler card, panel box, 
(except feature processor chip inside the control panel) and all IPL end with 
the same SRC.
 
I tried boot from CD with diferent releases and the problem presisted.
 
Did you solve your problem?
 
Any ideas?
