Re: User Profile file

The system does not maintain a file of all objects, although sometimes this
might be desirable.

If you have a profile in mind that you would like to assign, with
sufficient authority you can do CHKOBJ (user-profile-name) *USRPRF.  Then
do MONMSG CPF9801, and if you get this escape message, you are good to go.

If you really need a file (which is not maintained on the fly), you can do
DSPUSRPRF *ALL *BASIC *OUTFILE OUTFILE(whatever-you-want-the
file-to-be-called).

I need to scan to check if a user name has already been assigned. I would
like to know what the file name is that holds that name.
