To edit a *TIMZON you can use the CHGTIMZON command (or access the command
off of WRKTIMZON).

Your note however is refering to one of the system supplied *TIMZONs
(QN0400AST) and rather than changing/editing the system provided *TIMZON I
would suggest creating a new *TIMZON using CRTTIMZON. If you edit the IBM
provided *TIMZON you will lose your changes when upgrading to a future
release so you will need to reapply your changes every release, creating
your own *TIMZON will avoid this.

If you are using iSeries Navigator you can also create a new *TIMZON based
on an existing *TIMZON if you would like to "borrow" from QN0400AST.

This and more can be found in the V5R3 Information Center under Systems
management/Time management/Manage time zones.

How can I edit an object of tipe *TIMZON?

WRKLNK '/QSYS.LIB/QN0400AST*' does show the object, but options 2 & 5
just give a message telling me the type of object is not valid for this
operation.

InfoCenter seems brocken, the only reference I found is using the pc and
the part using the command line is missing.

TIA
