IIRC, the save file needs to exist in the specified library before you
receive it via FTP

Hi everyone,

I think I have lost my mind. I can't for the life of me remember how
to
get a save file from a non-iSeries machine to an iSeries. I'm using
ftp
and everytime I try to transfer the file I get this:

ftp> put validation.savf rcvsavf
local: validation.savf remote: rcvsavf
200 PORT subcommand request successful.
150 Sending file to member RCVSAVF in file RCVSAVF in library JAMES.
426-Cannot write to member RCVSAVF in file RCVSAVF in library JAMES.
426 Data transfer ended.

Can anyone help?

James Rich

It's not the software that's free; it's you.
