I have a logical file that is a three way join, line item file, stock file
and customer master file. The DDS for this file is as follows:

 *************** Beginning of data *************************************
                 R PROFIT JFILE(IMPILN00 IMPITM00 +
      A IMPICM00)
      A J JOIN(IMPILN00 IMPITM00)
      A JFLD(ILNSTK ITMSTK)
      A J JOIN(IMPILN00 IMPICM00)
      A JFLD(ILNSOLDTO ICMCUST#)
      A ILNINV#
      A ILNSOLDTO
      A ICMNAME
      A ILNEPRICE
      A ILNINVDATE
      A ITMSTK
      A ITMCLASS
      A ILNEUAVCST
      A K ILNSOLDTO
      A K ILNINVDATE
      A O ITMCLASS COMP(NE 'SPC')

However we have noticed that we are having some data that is being
duplicated in this file. So I ran an interactive query (using strsql) to
see what it returns. for invoice number "S 01612378" I am getting 12
records returned. Which some of them are duplicated 3 times for one line
item, 4 for another, and 5 for the final one.

So I ran it against just the line item PF and it returned the correct number
of records, 7, with the correct extended price amounts.

So it would appear that something in the logical is not correct but for the
life of me I have been unable to figure it out, so any suggestions or hints
would be appreciated.

Douglas
