do you have ? We have an IBM 3581-H23 and it SCREAMS...

I don't believe so.  There might be some dual drive setups that could, ours
isn't a dual drive.

I've thought about it and it would take roughly an additional 5 hours.
What I am doing is to keep the prior tape at the bank and the current one
at home.
