My next project is updating our DR plan. I'm told the current plan is
for me to move our second 400 to a warehouse in another state and do
something. It's up to me to figure out what that something is going to
be. We have 2 T1 lines to the warehouse already. Currently we have
Sungard, I'm told they are to expensive. I have experience with MIMIX
at another employer. Any suggestions?

We are currently doing this for some our clients in our data center. It
is
not a high availability system, but every night the clients system sends
us
the journaled files changes over the internet, and they are then
automatically applied to our back up system. We are also doing it for
one
of our clients systems that sits in our data center, and the backup
machine
is in JAX FLA.

If anyone is interesting in discussing a solution, please contact me off
line.

Anyone thinking or doing a type of backup via the net to a hot site or
other
service?

With Katrina passing through down here in Louisiana, I'm getting calls
from
clients about this.
