Is our version of SFTP compatible with OpenSSH? Do I need any third party software to do this? How involved/difficult is the setup on something like this? All opinions welcome.
What do you mean by "our version of SFTP"? If you mean the sftp command that comes with 5733-SC1, then it actually _is_ OpenSSH.
If you mean the iSeries FTP command, then no... SFTP (SSH FTP) is a completely different protocol from FTP. Although there are similarities in the user interface, the underlying protocol is entirely different.
However, the iSeries FTP command WILL work for SSL FTP (ftps) as long as you're on a new enough release of OS/400. (I can't remember if it requires V5R1 or V5R2)
