I've recently begun using ruby, specifically for the purpose of using 'Ruby on Rails', a web development framework. It has a pretty cool 'ActiveRecord' class library that lets you build a single file Create/Retrieve/Update/Delete web screen in as little as one line of code. http://www.rubyonrails.org/ A couple months ago, I was looking into all the fuss over Phython and bought a few books. After all was said and done, I decided to remain in the Perl camp. There just wasn't enough extra greatness in Python to warrant the switch. I haven't written any PHP, but I see that there are a *ton* of opensource web applications written in it. Regards, Rich
