We have enjoyed writing and publishing this site and our newsletter, but we feel that this is the best time to focus our efforts elsewhere.

Many of us who have been involved in the IBM community have felt that there should be a voice other than just IBM. We felt that alternatives by other vendors and strategies other than Java should be presented and viewed so that the iSeries developers and clients could make choices from a broader range of products and services.
We still believe that providing more choices for the Midrange community makes all the products better; that competition pushes all suppliers from IBM to Microsoft to all the tools and application vendors to strive to provide better solutions at better prices.
Perhaps we were too critical of the standard IBM offerings. Certainly, we could have been more diplomatic in our approach. Regardless, we shall move on and our friends at California Software will take over the site.
