RE: How to tell when an OS was installed?

DSPOBJD for that object reveals a creation date of 1997, well before the
OS we're running, V5R1, came out.  The change date, which you specified,
is from when we last did an entire system restore, not from when we
upgraded the OS.

So, it may work if you haven't restored since upgrading, but it can't be
considered 'gospel'.

In fact the creation/change date of any object couldn't really be used.

I was hoping to find a DTAARA similar to what we have for checking when
a RCLSTG was run.  That would be easy.
