Removing SOC resource

I have a partition I had set up virtual OptiConnect on, but no longer
want.  The SOC resources still show up on the system as failed and the
system still shows up on WRKOPTACT on other systems that do have virtual
OptiConnect.  

How can I remove these resources?  SST won't let me.
