You would probably NOT want to do the RSTUSRPRF from your 5 week old
save. Do a SAVSECDTA and a SAVCFG today. Then do steps 1, 2 and 6 from
today's tape and steps 3, 4 and 5 from the 5 week old save. This will
give you a restore to five week old data, with today's User profiles,
configuration and authorities.

You should still be able to do this from Option 21 on the restore menu,
just choose Prompt for Commands = Y and load the correct save tape for
each step.

Thanks, Scott. I have read the book and none of this answers my basic
quandry. The Save 21 tape is from 4 or 5 weeks ago. The first
RstUsrPrf
will be from that tape. Any profile deleted since that time will remain
on
the system after I do the RstUsrPrf -again- from the nightly tape,
correct?
I believe this to be so since the help for the command says that any
profile existing on the system yet does not exist when a RstUsrPrf *all
is
run will remain on the system.

The best solution I see would be to allow an interruption when it gets
to
the RstUsrPrf to allow a change to the tape, or to do a total reset of
the
user profiles so that subsequently deleted profiles do not remain on the
system.
