Bill,

Relative to security, the steps for a complete system restore are:

1. Do a RSTUSRPRF from last night's SAVSECDTA

2. Restore the most relevant version of all of the objects you want
to put back onto the system

3. Stop!!! Don't let the users on yet!!! You first have to do a
RSTAUT to synch up all of the object authorities and the user profiles.

4. Let your users back on.

You do the RSTUSRPRF first because the RST* commands will assign object
ownership to QDFTOWN if an object is restored and the system does not
recognize the owner listed on the object.

The RSTAUT command updates all of the User Profiles so that they contain
the objects that user's are authorized to. If you miss this step you
will likely be very, very, sorry.

Of course there are lots of other things to do on a complete restore, so
you're going to consult the backup and recovery guide before you start,
right? :-)
