I posted comments on this list some time ago (April 11, 2001) regarding
Baby400 (CA Software). I was unhappy with their product, their
malfunctioning dongle, and especially with them. Yes, there was a
dongle.

I just searched these archives for Baby400 to find my post and came up
with these:

help against unethical CA Software Business Practices]

http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200204/msg00926.html - someone
asking about Baby400 and a few resonses.

Here is my original post:

Bale's comments

I remember getting e-mail demanding a retraction...I clearly stated
that they did finally send me the upgrade, but I did not EVER install
it. I didn't ask for it, it would have been a hastle to get it activated
IIRC. I didn't want anything to do with them - not even their software
on my laptop. I just tossed the software. And then, I did follow up on
suggestions to get to NetShare400 (I think that's the one. John Ross?)
and really did enjoy that experience. Worth the small fee and gee, if
"felt just like a real 400". Oh, it was :-) :-)
