That is a good article.  I have been reading the bits in the IBM
concepts manual, but I think Simon makes it even clearer.

If I'm reading the joblog correctly, it is trying to compile the
"related objects" (i.e. the calling programs) and looks in every library
except the production library to find the source, and never does find
it.  The production library is listed in the library list at the top of
the log.   I think you're right that we probably have a setup issue.  It
shouldn't be a binder source issue, since at this point I'm not even
changing the module.  I'm just checking it out and promoting it to learn
how the process works.   No new procedures..no signature changes.  

 

We'll look at our IM setup and see if we can identify anything wrong,
then call IM support if we can't find anything.
