Yes, ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*YES) forces collector out of the system, regardless of what collections it may have active. ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*NO) - which is the default - is equivalent to QYPSENDC API. It asks collector to end system profile collection. If there is nothing left to collect, collector job will end. But if the so called "aplication overrides" are in effect (they are used by MC monitors among other things), collector will stay active. That is, QYPSPFRCOL job will stay in system, there will be active *MGTCOL object, etc. Alexei Pytel rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 07/26/2005 02:51 PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion To Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject Re: CPFB94A-Collector communications error. Reason code 02. Just to clarify, ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*YES) ends the Management Central collections also, while the QYPSENDC api does not? Rob Berendt
