Justin (and anyone else interested) http://dbg400.net/cgi-bin/twiki/view/DBG400/ClamAVoniSeries is an initial stab at a ClamAV on iSeries HOWTO. I have had all this running last year, but didn't take it further than proof of concept. Now that I've revisited the installation and documented the steps I find that it no longer works properly :( Basically ClamAV has continued to evolve, and the virus definition files don't appear to work with the old version of the clamscan binary I have. I can't use the latest version, as that requires features in PASE that aren't supported at V5R2. The good news is that they should be supported at V5R3 (at least the shared libraries it requires are in V5R3 PASE). I'd be very interested in hearing if anyone can get this working at V5R3, or if someone knows a workaround for V5R2 - I don't suppose it's possible to install the V5R3 PASE licpgm on a V5R2 system...
