Re: remote writer

My response really relates to remote printing that sometimes works, like
printer getting 40 pages into a report and hangs in the SND status, or after
a long
report, the next report hangs in the SND status. That's where the timeout
value
on the printer itself, or a print server card like Jet Direct, is important,
and generally
needs to be increased.
Your problem is more of a "not talking to it at all".
If you do a WRKOUTQ QEZJOBLOG and look for latest joblogs of the
printer jobs, you might find some detail in there that sheds some light.
