720's can run up to V5R3.  However you can only slip install skipping 1
release.  That is to say (that without divine intervention) from V4R4, the
max that you can go to is V5R1.

Hi Al,

Specifically, my client has a lot of systems round the world, and quite a
few are 720s. Many are still on V4R4, can they run V5R1? Also V5R2 and
above, or not??
Also isn't there an IBM site somewhere that tells which releases are no
longer supported??
And some of them haven't been paying their IBM software support, so will
there be a penalty?
