I am attempting to use FTP to transmit a save file from one iSeries system
to another. After entering my user i.d. and password, I also set the
directories using LCD and CD then enter "BINARY". The PUT command causes
the following messages to be generated:
227 Entering Passive Mode (10,3,9,31,144,186).
150 Sending file to member OBJSTOSEND in file OBJSTOSEND in library MYLIB.
Member OBJSTOSEND in file OBJSTOSEND in library MYLIB not found.
426 Data transfer ended.
226 ABOR subcommand successful.

The following two messages appear in my job log:
Not able to allocate object OBJSTOSEND.
Not able to allocate objects needed for file OBJSTOSEND in library
MYLIB member or program device *N.

After the PUT command is executed, the target system did not have the data I
was attempting to send and the save file on the source system had been
cleared.

The OBJSTOSEND file does exist on both systems in the MYLIB library and no
other jobs have the OBJSTOSEND file locked. I have searched through the
QSYSWRK and QSERVER jobs on both systems for some clue as to why this is not
working to no avail.

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone that can give me some clue as
to what is wrong.

Thank you in advance.
