Netserver - domain name

When I view the properties of the Netserver via Navigator I see a Domain
Name field. If I change this value will it only impact users trying to
map network drives via Windows Network Neighborhood, or will it also
impact all TCP/IP activities? We are moving our organization to a new
domain and are having problems getting people to map the drives once
moved and are thinking this value needs changed. Strange thing is that
some people work, some do not.
Any help is appreciated.
