Another part of the 'why iSeries DB2 is ignored' situation is the vast
majority of iSeries programmers don't use the relational (ala DB2)
features of the database. When you don't use SQL, and the closest you
get to a query language is some OPNQRYF statement, the topics that are
discussed in DB2 Magazine or the DB2 IMTC really don't apply. Folks on
this list are different, but that's why they're on this list - they
want to exploit the power of the iSeries, and they want to learn.
