Hello all,

I have searched the archives for this answer and have not found it. If it is there, would you point me to the previous post please?

I have an excel spreadsheet created off site with excel type dates. I need to get the data to the iSeries to compare with data in the files. I have checked the properties box that says "Convert Excel date and time cells to iSeries date or time" . When I run the wizard to create an iSeries file, it does not give me any options I can see to make those columns be dates instead of numbers. Am I missing something, or does the wizard not allow or recognize that number as a date? How can I tell it to convert that Excel date to a date data type?

I have downloaded and installed service pack SI18398 for iSeries Access for Windows.

Thanks!

Jim
