If your social security number was compromised, I think it would take more
than a couple of days to get a new one...

NOPE! Actually this request originally surfaced before the latest round of
news events.

Just as a side note... I was one of the BA credit card holders that was
notified that my card info had been compromised. I was contacted prior to
the news story and at the time they would not give me any details had to
how they knew that my card info had been compromised. good news was I had
a new card in 2 days.
