Al, Why do you suggest he read the friendly manual and save the file? It appears that Jeff Young had a reasonable answer to the question Joel posed, and one I think is correct and valid for what Joel was asking. Will saving the file as you suggest here bring back the entries in the journal receiver display when specifying just the filename to subset by? AFAIK, that was Joel's question - why does the DSPJRN bring only the entries from the recreate point and afterward - not best-practice on creating checkpoints for restoring journaled changes. Please elaborate if you could, I'm stumped with the reason for the response below. Justin C.
